Nettou Golf has never been released in the West and that's a shame. Featuring anime-style graphics, it's very beautiful and the courses are lovely, with little touches like buildings reflecting in the water and falling leaves adding a plus. Ditto for the designs of the courses, which are varied and difficult. The gameplay itself is pretty straightforward, all the usual club and shot type choices are present, but to shoot, just one movement of the analog stick down. It works surprisingly well, and complex shots can be done with a bit of skill. The game offers several single player modes and tournaments, as well as an online experience, the 1st online golf game for console.
