Asteroids 3D - PSX - Arcade Shooter

Activision's 1998 Asteroids remake combines the original Atari coin-op game with Atari 2600 features, 3-D graphics, and numerous power-ups. Players, as employees of the Astro-Mining Corporation, clear space zones of various asteroids and enemies across 75 levels. There are three ship types, each with unique strengths, and a fourth ship unlocks for Expert level players. The game includes standard weapons, limited power-ups, and supports one or two players. In two-player mode, the goal is to outscore the opponent. A hidden "Classic Asteroids" mode is unlocked by shooting a specific asteroid in level 15 of the first zone.
