The adventure unfolds around historical events, blending serious moments with comical and sometimes naughty elements. Players can explore the lives of "Steel Maidens" through the "Secret Encyclopedia of Steel Maidens," discovering secrets, earning bonus points, and unlocking secret weapons to enhance abilities in the simulation part of the game. New event CGs are added, and a unique "damage cut-in" feature shows the maidens'' armor peeling off in stages as their HP decreases, with some returning characters featuring updated cut-ins.
