Macross Ultimate Frontier is the sequel to Macross Ace Frontier, which was originally released on October 9, 2008 and sold 170,000 copies. Ultimate Frontier is the second in the series of games where Artdink incorporated mechanics from the Gundam Battle series into its gameplay.
