An erotic poker game re-using artwork created by Akira Yasuda (Akiman) for the game "Mahjong Gakuen". Since Mahjong is not as popular outside of Japan and they felt the artwork would be wasted on a Japan-only release, Mitchell then developed Poker Ladies for international audiences.
