Phantom II - MAME - Simulation, Shooter

Air combat games are always popular... and Midway's Phantom II beats them all with new ideas, fast action and modern techniques. Players 'fly' the Phantom in realistic flight patterns to battle and destroy 'bandit' planes. A press of the trigger fires missiles with authentic sound for 'on target' strikes. Enemies seek cloud cover and the Phantom turns on radar to reveal their position. Bonus points are scored for radar screen hits. If the Phantom flyer is hit, he is ejected and parachutes to safety for another chance to fly again and resume the chase. Extended play and game time are adjustable. Initials and scores of LEGEND, ACE and EXPERT are posted to encourage competition in this exciting single player video game.
