Shoulder Dash '99 (UK) (1999) (PD) - Amstrad CPC - Racing

Shoulder Dash '99 (UK) (1999) (PD) Amstrad CPC game showing 3D box cover and gameplay screenshot

It is a clone of Boulder Dash adapted for the CPC network. It therefore accepts 2 to 8 players simultaneously (of course you need as many CPCs connected to the network as there are players). We find with pleasure the rocks which fall, the diamonds which sparkle and the Monsters which hurt. In this version, the stakes have shifted a bit. The main goal is to knock out your opponents, either by throwing a rock at their head or more subtly, by directing them straight towards an ugly monster. You should also avoid killing yourself. 2 nice options are added. You can teleport randomly throughout the level. It can be very useful but it can also be fatal. You can also hide through a continuous loss of diamonds, you then have the appearance of a rock but you can still move (it's very funny to see). The game has 4 levels but an editor allows you to create others! Stunning.
