Happy Numbers (UK) (1984) - Amstrad CPC - Educational, Math
(1984).jpg)
The program first draws a large clear figure between 1 and 9. The child has to find the matching key on the keyboard. Each time the child pressed it, a flower appears. The child needs to collect the right number of flowers to match the figure. Success is rewarded by a smile and entertaining sound and visual effects. If the child makes a mistake then the 'Happy Face' grimaces, the program shows what was wrong, and then allows the child to learn the correct answer. If the child finds some numbers difficult then the program can be set to practice on those numbers. The program notes the child's answers so that progress and problems can be readily seen.
