Arche du Captain Blood, L' (UK,F,G,S,I) (1988) - Amstrad CPC - Adventure
(1988).jpg)
The player plays a programmer who is trapped and cloned inside his own game. He is gradually transformed into a machine and must find and destroy his five clones before he loses his human form for good. The action takes place in Hydra, an imaginary universe, where the player moves from planet to planet, meeting aliens with different characteristics, who may or may not help him to accomplish his quest. Captain Blood's Ark is characterised by its relatively innovative dialogue system, allowing you to create sentences from icons in order to communicate with the aliens. The player controls a biological ship called an Ark, and must launch probes onto the surfaces of planets, successfully navigating them across the landscape to locate an alien. The Ark can also scan planets and sometimes teleport aliens to different locations.
